W26-15. Three draw Spyglass,c 1850 Achromatic objective diameter 1 1/5 " stopped down to 1" by sliding light hood, terrestrial eyepiece, both objective and eye piece have sliding lens protectors. The length is 34" fully extended and 13.5" closed; the overall diameter is 2.5". The body is covered with black shark skin, brass finish age darkened. The piece is well engineered optically. The mechanical design is robust, business like and attractive.
